There are still a couple of days left of National Poetry Month and there so much poetry happening in the area, so go out and find your stage.
We are kicking off National Poetry Month big with Poets Speak Loud on Monday, NGS on Tuesday, and Caffe Lena Poetry Open Mic on Wednesday.

We have made it past January and in the middle of a very cold winter here. Here a rundown of open mics and events to keep you warm this week.
We are wrapping up 2013 with the Sunday Four Open Mic in Voorheesville on Sunday then Monday night’s Poets Speak Loud at McGeary’s in Albany.
Another big week of poetry starts this evening with Yes! at the Albany Center Gallery and continues all week with open mics and readings.
Just looking at the calendar and realizing, once again, that we have a lot of poetry and spoken word events in the upstate New York region.
There is a lot of poetry in the Hudson Valley happening this weekend including the Calling All Poets’ Poetry Marathon and the return of the Poetry Brothel.
