What a great week we have lined up here in our poetry community starting with Poets Speak Loud on Monday night with Samson Dikeman and Pat Irish. Then Tuesday night is Nitty Gritty Slam #73 featuring Rachel Therres from the Suffern Slam Society. On Wednesday the great Elizabeth K. Gordon will be feautirng at Caffe Lena with Jesse Muse. And the poetry and spoken word continue from there through Saturday’s Poetry on the Loose.

We are blessed to have such a great wealth of talented poets and spoken word artists in the area. We are also very fortunate to have so many places for these writers and readers to perform. A huge thank you to all of the hosts and venue owners for opening your doors and letting words flow from your stages.

Go out and support local art and local businesses. Here is a look at what is coming up in our poetry community this week…
