“Write 4 a Day” is a new series of monthly one-day writing retreats in upstate New York’s Universal Pathways.
Bernadette Mayer will lead her continuing workshop series, starting in May, providing the opportunity to engage in her language experiments.
The Write Stuff: A One-Day Writers’ Festival is coming up on Saturday, November 8 at the Roeliff Jansen Community Library in Hillsdale, NY.
The Hudson Valley Writers Guild will offer a free conference for writers on Sunday, November 2, at the East Greenbush Community Library.
Poet Katrinka Moore will give a reading and teach a workshop in visual poetry at the Catskill Mountain Foundation on Saturday, October 11.

On Saturday, November 8, the Roe Jan Community Library will host a one-day writers’ festival entitled “The Write Stuff” featuring local authors.
The New York State Writers Institute will offer two creative writing workshops during the fall 2014 semester with Lydia Davis and Jo Page.
The Northeast Poetry Center’s College of Poetry presents a workshop by Steve Hirsch and Poetry on the Loose featuring Michael Graves.
A big day of poetry with a workshop conducted by William Seaton followed by the Poetry on the Loose reading featuring Gina R. Evers.
