Over the past couple of months, a number of local poets have released new books and collections of their work.
On Sunday, January 29, poets will gather at Old Songs to celebrate the launch of Howard Kogan’s new book, A Chill in the Air. The gig will begin at 3 p.m. with a toast to the bard and a treat or two to boot. There will be an open mic, but poets will be limited to one poem that focuses on the theme.
Dan Wilcox and Nancy Klepsch hosted the 2nd Sunday at 2, Poetry and Prose open mic at the Arts Center in Troy with 15 poets on the list.
Howard Kogan has two new books coming out. A book of poems, A Chill in the Air, and Howard’s first (and what he says “probably my last”) novel. A book launch is planned January 29 in Voorheesville.
