New Books from Local Poets

Over the past couple of months, a number of local poets have released new books and collections of their work. Here’s a run down of what is now available so you can fill your bookshelves.

 

Green-Weak by Therese Broderick

New chapbook by Albany poet Therese L. Broderick, entitled Green-Weak, is now published online by Red Wolf Editions. Praised as “elegiac familial poems” that “honor the perfection of imperfections.” Includes a meditative sequence on Therese’s practice of cutting grass with scissors. Thin Matter by Alifair Skebe

Two Books by Howard Kogan

Howard Kogan has two new books available. His book of poems, A Chill in the Air is now available from Square Circle Press. He also has a novel, No View, that has just been released in paperback and on Kindle via Amazon.
