Poets Speak Loud Featuring Richard Levine

The Poets Speak Loud open mic series returns to McGeary’s on Monday, April 27, with featured poet Richard Levine.

Richard Levine, who was originally scheduled to be our featured poet in February, is a retired teacher and Working Families Party activist, is the author of A Tide of a Hundred Mountains, That Country’s SoulA Language Full of Wars and Songs, Snapshots from a Battle, and most recently The Cadence of Mercy, from Finishing Line Press.

Poets Speak Loud is Albany Poets’ long-running monthly open mic for poetry and spoken word with a featured poet hosted by local poet Mary Panza at McGeary’s (4 Clinton Square) in downtown Albany on the last Monday of each and every month.

Sign-up for the open mic is 7:00pm, we start around 8pm.
