The concluding event of Word Fest 2015 was the Slam Invitational held at the Steamer 10 Theater, Albany, NY.
The Poetry Motel Foundation & the Hudson Valley Writers Guild present a reading of “Song of Myself” to commemorate the birthday of Walt Whitman.
To celebrate National Poetry Month, the Hyde Park Writers Group is hosting the “My Favorite Poem” event on Sunday at the Hyde Park Library.
We have a great week of events ahead of here in our poetry community starting on Sunday in Voorheesville with “Presenting Your Genealogy”.
On Tuesday, May 5, at The Low Beat we will be hosting the Last Chance Slam with the top two poets of the night moving on to the Grand Slam.
The Poets Speak Loud poetry and spoken word open mic series returns to McGeary’s on Monday, April 27, with featured reader Richard Levine.
The 2015 Albany Word Fest has been great and we have two more great events: the Word Fest Open Mic & 3rd Annual Word Fest Invitational Slam.
