Poetry Workshop with Susan Comninos

Exploring Controllable Forms (in an uncontrollable time) Writing in verse forms – like sonnenizio, villanelle, pantoum and tricube – can be a powerful way for us to express and contain the often-uncontainable experience. It can also help us become more powerful and precise in our word choice. Join us on Thursday nights as we play with established poetry forms and have fun while making unexpected choices and discoveries about how we use language. Reading and discussing work by published poets, in addition to writing creatively, is a part of this course.
