It was the 1st Tuesday in June, so I headed over to The Low Beat in the Central Ave. entertainment grid for the Slam and poetry open mic.

The fourth Surreal Cabaret, with performance art, multi-media, and other avant-garde techniques is Friday, June 13 in the Kurt Seligmann Studio.
On Thursday June 12 at 7 Northshire Bookstore Saratoga (424 Broadway) will host a poetry reading with Peg Boyers and Chase Twichell.
We are back at The Low Beat on Tuesday, June 17 with the 72nd edition of Nitty Gritty Slam as the summer of NGS rolls on.
