For the 2003 Albany Word Fest we decided to move the event inside the walls of Valentine’s, which was at the time the home of the monthly open mic School

April is National Poetry Month and there will be quite a celebration in Saratoga as local poet Barbara Garro and the Saratoga Poetry & Song Focus Group will be presenting poetry
The Hudson Valley Writers Guild supports the efforts of writers in all genres by sponsoring readings, workshops, and contests and providing a number of valuable resources for the entire literary community.
