Salon Salvage with Farnoosh Fathi, Anastasios Karnazes, Caryl Pagel, and Hilary Plum
Join us on Saturday night, January 28th, 7 pm, at Salon Salvage inside Weathered Wood as we kick off a new year of events. We’re excited to present currently-local poets Farnoosh Fathi and Anastasios Karnazes, along with visiting writers Caryl Pagel and Hilary Plum.
Farnoosh Fathi is the author of Great Guns and Granny Cloud (forthcoming), editor of Joan Murray: Drafts, Fragments, and Poems and founder of the Young Artists Language and Devotion Alliance (YALDA). She teaches and lives in New York.
Anastasios Karnazes is the author of Rainbow Sonnets 20 (The Song Cave) and editor of Theaphora Editions.
Caryl Pagel is the author of three books of poetry—Free Clean Fill Dirt (University of Akron Press, 2022), Twice Told, and Experiments I Should Like Tried At My Own Death—as well as the essay collection Out of Nowhere Into Nothing (FC2, 2020). She is a publisher and editor at Rescue Press and the director of the CSU Poetry Center.
Hilary Plum is the author of several books, including the essay collection Hole Studies, the novel Strawberry Fields, and the work of nonfiction Watchfires. A collection of poetry, Excisions, is forthcoming in spring 2023 from Black Lawrence Press. She teaches at Cleveland State University and is associate director of the CSU Poetry Center. With Zach Savich she edits the Open Prose Series at Rescue Press.
