Cut Up Poetry!

April is National Poetry Month! Stop by the Washington Avenue branch Children’s room to create your own unique cut-up poetry all month long. What is cut-up poetry, you ask? It’s the process of cutting words out of books, magazines, or newspapers and putting them together to create a poem. We will have a cut-up poetry cart set up all month long as well as a space for you to showcase your poems!
