Black Bird: a multimedia art experience

Black Bird is a multimedia art exhibit of new work by D. Colin. The show will include visual art, poetry, music and monologues on healing.

This art exhibit experience is a new body of work produced by D. Colin during her 6 month artist residency at The Fish Market through the Arts Center of the Capital Region. The show focuses on healing and recovery from past and present wounds, personal and collective trauma. It is a show that grieves losses, that screams in frustration at the world, that loves deeply, that bleeds its soul and celebrates as in the words and spirit of Lucille Clifton that “everyday something has tried to kill me and has failed.”
