Don Levy is still knee deep in Victorian Literature but he is moving forward in time to New York City in 1916 with “Archy and Mehitabel”.

Don Levy is getting ready for the #Victober challenge, where he will be nothing nothing but books written in the Victorian era in October.

Don’s mother asked him to bring two books on his next visit. One of those books, “Less” by Andrew Sean Greer, might be his favorite book this year.

After Tab Hunter died, Don read his autobiography called “Tab Hunter Confidential” and then thought about other autobiographies he enjoys.

On Tuesday, May 22 PBS aired a new show about novels called The Great American Read. They compiled a list of 100 of “America’s favorite books” and you can vote online to pick which book is America’s all-time favorite novel.

Don didn’t mean to read six books by female authors in a row, but he doesn’t regret it. In the era of #MeToo & Time’s Up, it’s hard to ignore the contribution woman have made to literature.
