Bob Sharkey and the Stephen A. DiBiase Poetry Prize editors have released the results of the eighth annual contest, and HVWG members Cheryl A. Rice and Paul Hastings Wilson were among the top prize winners.
Guild members Anna Boughtwood, Jodi Frank, Tom Corrado, and Rachel Baum also won prizes or were finalists.

- Second ($400) – Jed Clampett Is A Happy Man—Cheryl A. Rice, Kingston NY
- Third ($250) tie – Colours Of Recovery—Joshua Effiong, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria and Red Dust—Anita Vijayakumar, Lake Forest IL
- Fifth ($175) – Visiting Blood—Paul Hastings Wilson, Wallkill NY
- Sixth ($150) – My Grandmother Talked to Dolls—Jessica dee Koninck, Montclair NJ
