Joan Houlihan is offering a new Zoom workshop for June and July on Thursday mornings from 10 am to 12 pm EST, starting June 9.
This is a traditional workshop format: one poem per person each week critiqued by Joan with feedback from group members. These are poets working at an advanced level, many with publications (books and/or journals), and with experience in the field of poetry.
The cost for a month’s session (four Thursdays) is $300 (or $500 for two months). If you’re interested, please email Joan with 3-4 sample poems, and she will send you the payment link.
Joan Houlihan is the author of six books of poetry, most recently, It Isn’t a Ghost if it Lives in Your Chest (Four Way Books). Her poetry has been anthologized in The Iowa Anthology of New American Poetries (University of Iowa Press) and The Book of Irish-American Poetry-Eighteenth Century to Present (University of Notre Dame Press). She teaches in the Lesley University Low-Residency MFA Program and at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Houlihan founded and directs the Colrain Poetry Manuscript Conference.
