Katrinka Moore will be presenting the “Image and Imagination” workshop series on four Saturdays – May 7 – May 28, 10:30 – noon – at Whitman Books, 304 Main Street, Middleburgh, NY.
Moore says, “Together we will explore a variety of techniques for composing poetry, from making playful visual poems to using poetic forms — drawing on life experiences to write of place and memory. Each week we’ll read selected poems and create new work.”
New, emerging, and established poets are welcome. Participants will share and discuss their writing in a respectful and supportive atmosphere and have an opportunity to read their poems at a public reading in June.
The cost for the four sessions is $40. For the health and safety of all, class size is limited and masks and proof of vaccination are required.
