2nd Sunday @ 2: In-Person at Collar City Mushrooms

In the spirit of all things Troy, NY, Avery Stempel of Collar City Mushrooms and Dan Wilcox and Nancy Klepsch of 2nd Sunday @ 2 open mic for poetry and prose are proud to announce a new in real life (IRL) location for our open mic at Collar City Mushrooms, 333 2nd Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.

Join us on the second Sunday of each month for spoken word, poetry and prose and perhaps some mushrooms @ Collar City Mushrooms or on Zoom. See our FB page for Zoom link. Hosted by Nancy Klepsch and Dan Wilcox, please bring five min. of prose or two poems to read.

All open mics are free, open to the public and take place at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.   We are holding open mics on the following dates:

2nd Sunday @ 2 open mic for poetry and prose is its 11th year, supporting emerging, published and writers in-between.  We were the first to offer both poetry and prose in an open mic setting, and we’re proud of that, as well as our commitment to LGBT and DEI issues.   Please join us! All are welcome at our table!
