St. Mary’s of the Lake is offering a poetry writing retreat this summer from Sunday, July 19 to Friday, July 24th. The facility is located on Lake George and offers excellent food, charming, rustic rooms and spectacular views. There is a meditation path on the property and a quarter mile of lakefront for contemplation and swimming. We hope to provide you with the inspiring space and support you need to focus on your work, to complete, start or fine tune your chosen project.
St. Mary’s of the Lake has hosted a retreat for visual artists with a similar format for the past 15 or so years. These retreats have been very successful, so much so that they now have a waiting list each summer.
