On Wednesday, September 4, Caffè Lena will present a poetry reading by Suzanne Rancourt.    An open reading will follow. Doors open for sign-ups at 7pm and the readings will start at 7:30. The host for the event will be Carol Graser and the cost is $5 general, free for students

Suzanne Rancourt is Abenaki/Huron descent from West Central Maine, and currently resides in the Adirondack Mountains, NY. Her work appears in  many literary journals and anthologies including, You Can Hear the Ocean: Anthology,  Women Speak-Women of Appalachia Project, Tiny Flames Press, Tupelo Press Native Voices Anthology, Bright Hill Press 25th Anniversary Anthology, Slipstream, Journal of Military Experience, and Cimarron Review. Her poetry collection Billboard in the Clouds received the Native Writers’ Circle of the Americas First Book Award, her second, murmurs at the gate, was published by Unsolicited Press in 2019.  She is a USMC and Army veteran and continues to serve as a Mentor for the Saratoga County Veterans’ Peer to Peer program.
