Wednesday, March 13 is the launch of Schenectady’s new poetry venue. Formerly located in Arthur’s Market, the poetry series has found a new home at C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios, a center for expressive arts on 137 State Street.
In addition to the open mic, the evening will feature presentations by the “Wednesday Writers,” an eclectic group from Schenectady’s library workshops. Signups for the open mic start at 7:00, readings start at 7:30. Jackie Craven will host and admission is free.
Parking is on State Street, Liberty Street, and in the parking lot behind the building by the garages.
