The Guild and Albany High School

Albany High School librarian Alicia Abdul contacted the Hudson Valley Writers Guild about participating in a poetry unit project with 10th grade English classes. Student intern Diane Clark developed the program to explore the social function of poetry. Guild members Therese Broderick and Dawn Marar gave presentations on writing and shared their poetry; as well as assisted students in a writing workshop.
