Third Thursday Poetry Night Featuring Dineen Carta

Poet Dineen Carta will read from her work at the Social Justice Center, 33 Central Ave., Albany on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 7:30PM.

Dineen Carta is a mom, psychosynthesis transformational life coach, practitioner of healing and energetic therapies, and a spiritual devotee. She resides in Albany, NY.

Her book Loving the Ache: A Woman’s Journey was published in 2015.  Here is what Dineen wrote:

“Twenty years ago, I lost my voice. It wasn’t for just a day or 2. I lost my voice for 3 entire years. Doctors and specialists told me that I’d never get  it back. My voice would sometimes come out in a whisper so I could read to my young daughter. I was a single mom, dating and striving to live a good life. I am Spiritual. I am Sensual. I am a mom, and I am a Woman. I began to write poetry to express my many experiences. I healed myself. I healed my voice. I shared my writings and people could relate. I became an inspirational life coach, energy healer and spiritual guide. My name is Dineen Carta and I am poet.”
