Arthur’s Poetry Open-Mic on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 (2nd Wednesday of each month) with featured poet Kathleen Smith.
After a career of writing on behalf of others, Kathleen wallows in the luxury of writing poetry and prose in her own green voice. When she can find her keys and glasses on the same day, this prizewinning poet (HVWG and DiBiase awards) delights in reading at local libraries and open mikes. She wants to emphasize she has only two cats.
Her publications include Piedmont Literary Review, Milkweed Chronicle, Pudding, and Naugatuck River Review. Her work is also featured in the anthologies Heart to Heart: Mothers and Daughters and Poems to the Beloved.
Beverages & food available on the premises!
Hosted by Catherine Norr
Sign-up begins 7:00, readings begin 7:30 at Arthur’s Market & Cafe, 35 N.Ferry Street, Schenectady, NY 12305.
