On Wednesday, January 3, Caffè Lena will present a poetry reading by Nancy White with an open reading to follow.

Nancy White is the author of three poetry collections: Sun, Moon, Salt, winner of the Washington Prize for poetry; Detour; and her latest, Ask Again Later. She publishes in a range of literary journals, from Ploughshares and FIELD to New England Review, Rattle, and New Orleans Review. Locally she’s a proud member of The Women of Mass Dissemination.This team shares the quest to make the time to write, nourish the drive to publish, and survive the slings and arrows of rejection along the way. Nancy has taught at Bennington College, Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, and is currently a professor of English at SUNY Adirondack. She’s also president and editor-in-chief of a nonprofit poetry organization, The Word Works, based in Washington DC.
