A weekly poetry and spoken word open mic series hosted by Michael Platsky with featured poet Shiv Mirabito.

8:00pm – Northampton Poetry Open Mic
World War II Club, 50 Conz St., Northampton, MA
Northampton’s only weekly open mic poetry night offers some of the best, most creative voices in the county. Every Tuesday night at 8:00pm.

 

Wednesday, December 13

6:00pm – We Will Get Through This: Cohoes Fire Creative Fundraiser
Spindles on Remsen, 241 Remsen St, Cohoes, NY
Open Mic followed by triple feature: Cohoes comedian William Hughes, Troy performance poet D Colin, and singer / songwriter Erin Ouellette. Hosted by Cohoes resident Elizabeth Gordon (Elizag), author of Love Cohoes. $5 suggested donation (none turned away) for the victims of the worst fire in Cohoes history.

7:00pm – Arthur’s Market Open Mic
Arthur’s Market, 35 North Ferry St., Schenectady, NY
Monthly poetry open mic in Schenectady’s historic Stockade District hosted by Catherine Norr. This month will be a Round-Robin Open Poetry Share – bring your latest or oldest works to share in an informal circle of poetry enthusiasts.

8:00pm – Hudson Valley Writers’ Center Open Mic Night
Hudson Valley Writers’ Center, 300 Riverside Drive, Sleepy Hollow, NY
Featured Poets + open mike for poets, fiction writers, essayists with rotating hosts. Located in the restored Philipse Manor railroad station, which is approx. 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan and 2.6 miles north of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
