Matsuo Basho, the master Haiku poet, was once asked what you needed to be a good haiku poet. He replied something like “you must be three feet tall.”
Haiku is written all over the world and is a simple and wonderful way to relate our experiences with nature.
Michael Czarnecki has been writing haiku for decades. In this workshop, he’ll explain what haiku is, share haiku from various poets and then we’ll write our own haiku, maybe even from outside. Open to all levels of writing ability.
