Harvey Havel will be hosting another “Night of Features” on Thursday, June 22, at 7pm at the Hudson River Coffee House, 227 Quail Street, Albany. The reading will be followed by an open mic.
A.C. Everson is a homegrown poet, sculptor and performance artist who is known to mix her homemade pinatas with her poetry. She has had the great good fortune to perform with some of the Albany area’s most amazing musicians as well as record with them too.
Don Levy has been reading poetry in Albany since the first time he read at the open mic at the QE2 in 1988 and hasn’t stopped since. He was the editor of the Albany Anthology, ran a series of featured readings around town, the last one being Live From the Living Room at the Pride Center of the Capital Region. He now blogs about books for the Albany Poets website.
Danielle Pouliot was born and raised in Albany, NY. She majored in English and French Literature and currently teaches Creative Writing at the Albany Free School. She recently completed her first novel, which contemplates a romance between an adolescent girl and her pseudo-uncle. She lives in Albany with her husband and two children.
Brett Petersen obtained his B.A. in English from the College of Saint Rose in 2011. His stories have appeared in publications such as Corner Bar Magazine, Leopardskin & Limes, and Visitant Lit. He is also a cartoonist, drummer and singer/songwriter whose high-functioning autism only adds to his creativity. He lives in Albany NY.
