The Hudson Valley Writers Guild will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, November 13, at the William K. Sanford Town Library (Colonie), 629 Albany Shaker Road, from 2-4 p.m. The meeting is open to the public (members and non-members alike). There will be refreshments and a chance to meet other local writers. The meeting’s agenda will include reports on the guild’s activities during the year and the election of new members to the guild board.
Speaking of elections, if you have ideas about activities or events you would like to see the guild sponsor and would like to help make these things happen, you will have a chance to put your name in nomination to become a member of the board. We have a number of active committees and always need interested members to fill the executive positions of president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary. Think about it — and come to the annual meeting and get involved in your Hudson Valley Writers Guild.
