On Wednesday, October 5, Caffè Lena will present poetry readings by Judith Kerman and Adam Tedesco at Northshire Bookstore. An open reading will follow. Doors open for sign-ups at 6:30 p.m., and the readings will start at 7 p.m. The host for the event will be Carol Graser, and the cost is $5. Northshire Bookstore is located at 424 Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
Adam Tedesco is a founding editor of Reality Beach and contributing editor for Drunk In A Midnight Choir. His recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in Funhouse, Souvenir, Prelude, Hobart, The Nervous Breakdown and elsewhere. He is the author of several chapbooks, including The Heart Sutra, available this September.
Judith Kerman retired as professor emerita of English from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan, where she taught creative writing, literature and electronic media. She has published nine collections of poems, most recently Aleph, broken: Poems from My Diaspora (Broadstone Books, 2016) and three collections of translations. She was a Fulbright scholar in the Dominican Republic in 2002. She is publisher of Mayapple Press in Woodstock, NY.
