We are back at The Low Beat on Tuesday, September 15 for the second Nitty Gritty Slam of Season Five!
At the last slam we kicked off the new season with great poetry and spoken word – ending with Mojavi and Elizag in a very exciting 3rd Round battle.
We also have some new rules, theme nights, volunteers , announcements, hosts, and other surprises that will be revealed on Tuesday night.
Who will be the second winner of the season? Who will raise the bar and set their sights on #TeamNittyGritty 2016? All of those questions will be answered when we start Season Four at NGS 102.
If you’re not into competing in the slam, but want to get on stage and share your work, we have an open mic before the slam hosted by Kevin Peterson. Sign up begins at 7:00pm, open mic starts at 7:30, and then the slam at 8:00pm. Admission is $5.00 ($3.00 with student ID). This is an 18+ show.
