7:00pm – Nitty Gritty Slam #86 – Bad Lyric Night
The Low Beat, 335 Central Ave., Albany, NY
Season Four of Albany’s poetry slam continues with NGS #86. This time it is our annual Bad Lyric Night where you can only perform the worst song lyrics that you can dig up. There is also an open mic for poetry and spoken word before the slam. Admission is $5.00 / $3.00 with student ID.
7:00pm – Colonie Tuesday Night Live Poets’ Corner

Writers Read is a monthly series of established poets and writers reading from their works. Each fourth Friday (with exception of November) will feature a poet and writer reading from their works for approximately 30 minutes each.
