We return to McGeary’s on Monday, July 28 for another summer edition of Poets Speak Loud with the great Andy Clausen as our featured reader.

We return to McGeary’s on Monday, July 28 for another summer edition Poets Speak Loud. This month we are very happy to welcome the great Andy Clausen as our featured reader.

Andy Clausen is the author of two selected books of verse: Home of the Blues and 40th Century Man. Published Long Shot, City Lights, Beat Scene, New Directions 37. He has conducted poetry workshops in prisons and taught poetry in schools from kindergarten to college.

Poets Speak Loud is Albany Poets’ long-running monthly open mic for poetry and spoken word with a featured poet hosted by local poet Mary Panza at McGeary’s (4 Clinton Square) in downtown Albany on the last Monday of each and every month.

Sign-up for the open mic is 7:00pm, we start around 8pm.
