We return to McGeary’s on Monday, May 26, for the 2014 Memorial Day edition of Poets Speak Loud. This month we are not going to have a featured reader as we celebrate the holiday, but we will have an extended open mic for all poets and spoken word artists.
We have some great featured readers lined up for the summer including Samson Dikeman and Pat Irish on June 30 and Hudson Valley poet Andy Clausen on July 28.
Poets Speak Loud is Albany Poets’ long-running monthly open mic for poetry and spoken word with a featured poet hosted by local poet Mary Panza at McGeary’s (4 Clinton Square) in downtown Albany on the last Monday of each and every month.
Sign-up for the open mic is 7:00pm, we start around 8pm.
