If you are not at Art on Lark this Saturday afternoon, then take a ride down the Truway and check out the Woodstock Poetry Society at the Woodstock Community Center. This month, along with an open mic for poets and writers, host Phillip Levine has artist, publisher, writer, and yogi Shiv Mirabito as the featured poet.

Woodstock Poetry Society & Festival (www.woodstockpoetry.com) as part of the Woodstock Arts Consortium is sponsoring the following poetry event as part of the Woodstock “Second Saturdays” Art Events. For a full listing of “Second Saturday” events, see: www.artsinwoodstock.org.

Note the venue – we will be at the Woodstock Community Center this month. In July, we will be at The Golden Notebook, and for the remainder of 2013 we will be at the Woodstock Community Center.

Poet Shiv Mirabito & Friends will be the featured readers, along with an open mike when the Woodstock Poetry Society & Festival meets at the Woodstock Community Center, 56 Rock City Road, on Saturday, June 8th at 2pm. Note: WPS&F meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of every month.

The readings will be hosted by Woodstock area poet Phillip X Levine. All meetings are free, open to the public, and include an open mike.
