We are at the end of another great week of poetry and spoken word here in Albany, but there is more to come next week.
This past Tuesday, we saw a great crowd at Valentine’s for Nitty Gritty Slam #28 featuring Meg Waldron and Robyn Bateman. It was also our largest slam in terms of participants with 15 poets in the first round. Congrats to Elizag, Brandon Williamson (from Buffalo), and Kevin Peterson on your performances. We will be back for a special 5th Tuesday edition of the slam series with the first ever Inappropriate Slam on Tuesday, October 30. More details will be coming next week.
