Hudson ArtsWalk Literary Festival

Hudson Opera House

The annual Hudson ArtsWalk Festival, sponsored by the Columbia County Council of the Arts, takes place this weekend, Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7 in Hudson, New York. This event is free and open to the public. Organizers say that The Columbia County Council on the Arts 18th annual ArtsWalk is, “the region’s largest arts festival celebrating the Hudson Valley’s most spirited and creative artists. Activities will highlight the arts in all their forms!”

The 2012 ArtsWalk Literary Series includes multiple Guggenheim Fellows, award-winning NY Times Bestselling authors and a Pulitzer Prize winning Poet Laureate; generating much excitement in literary circles this year! CCCA Literary Arts Festival readings will occur on two dates, in two locations in Hudson this year. On Saturday, October 6, join us at Hudson’s City Hall (Council Room) from noon-5pm for readings of authors listed below. On Sunday, October 7th, join us at the Hudson Opera House (West Room) for the schedule of authors listed below. We hope you will join us on both of these dates for free readings, signings, book sales and discussions where the finest of today’s novelists, poets, essayists and biographers convene in Columbia County for this special event.
