We are at the end of another great week of POETRY and spoken word here in Albany this week. On Tuesday, we crowned local POET and MC,  ILLiptical as the Nitty Gritty Slam Season One Champion.  We also announced the Season Two schedule for NGS to get everyone ready for the next series of slam POETRY events, starting on Tuesday, September 4. But before we get to all of that, we have a lot of great events happening this coming week in the area. Kicking everything off is the 22nd Annual Subterranean POETRY Festival at The Widow Jane Mine with a huge list of the Hudson Valley’s great POETS.
