Poetry Slam (from The Signal)
On Oct. 27, the Warrior Activity Center (WAC), Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) and the University Student Union put on “Slam Stereotypes: Poetry Show” as part of the university’s human campaign. The show took place at 7 p.m. in the Warrior Grill and featured two professional poets, Ner City and The Saint along with four more poets they brought along with them. Students filled the Warrior Grill and the event offered food at discounted prices. The crowd was receptive to the poets, laughing at the right time and understanding the serious moments…
