We return to McGeary’s on Monday, October 27 for an autumn edition of Poets Speak Loud with poet Mike Jurkovic as our featured reader.

Dan was able to make it up to the historic Caffè Lena in Saratoga Springs for the monthly poetry open mic featuring Mike Jurkovic & Paul Pines.
Mike Jurkovic recently read at Half Moon Books in Kingston, NY along with other upstate poets. Here is the audio from that event.
We are also very fortunate to have so many places for these writers and readers to perform. Go out and support local art and local businesses.
On Saturday July 26th some of the finest poets and writers of the upstate NY will gather for a special poetry reading at Half Moon Books.
The Hudson Valley Writers Guild supports the efforts of writers in all genres by sponsoring readings, workshops, and contests and providing a number of valuable resources for the entire literary community.
