The Middleburgh Library Poetry and Creative Writer’s Society
Middleburgh Library is proud to present its latest program for lovers of the written word.
Starting this September, we will be having bi-weekly/monthly meetings for what we will be calling The Middleburgh Library Poetry and Creative Writers Society. Times and dates will be forthcoming.
We will meet to read some of our favorite poems and passages, original or not. Original works are encouraged but all works are welcome, from the greats to the obscure. Readings can be followed by discussion, comments, input, etc. at the readers discretion. If you don’t like reading in public that is fine, bring in your favorite piece and others will read it aloud. Time will be limited for each participant to make this as inclusive as possible.
I would like to attend and read. I’m a poet. I’ll be reading at the poetry festival at Cafe Lena’s in Saratoga Springs.
