POSTPONED: “The Basics of Book Self-Marketing” with Author Karen DeBonis
Due to illness, this workshop has been postponed. A new date/time will be announced very soon.
Have you written and published a book but have no idea how to market it? Or perhaps you’re working on a book, but dreading the time when you’ll have to sell it? Do you have a small publisher for your book who provides no marketing support? If so, then this workshop is for you!
With zero experience in public relations or selling, Troy author Karen DeBonis wilted at the thought of marketing her memoir Growth: A Mother, Her Son, and the Brain Tumor They Survived (Apprentice House Press, 2023), published by a small press. But in the process of studying the craft of writing, she had absorbed a wealth of information about marketing. She realized she’d already laid the foundation and knew what she needed to do. In The Basics of Book Self-Marketing, she’ll share her secrets with you.
This program is made possible through funding from the Hudson Valley Writer’s Guild.
