Rooted Revision: How To Grow Your Poems Strong
In this workshop, renowned poet Annie Finch shares her trademark technique of Rooted Revision, developed over a lifetime of writing and teaching poetry. Based in fundamental principles of poetic structure, the principles of Rooted Revision apply to poems of all aesthetics and shapes—formal, free verse, performance, or exploratory.
Bring one of your unfinished poems and we will explore together how to practice the three steps of Rooted Revision: Dig Deep. Hear Hard. Grow Glad. You will leave with a revised poem and a set of poetic tools to last a lifetime.
