Protecting Artistic Rights
Do you know what your rights are as a writer, or how to read that contract you’ve tried so hard to get? What about the differences between Copyright, Trademarks, Patents, and Service Marks? Jodé Millman, attorney and author, will answer these questions and more at the next meeting of the Upper Hudson Sisters in Crime chapter meeting on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm EST.
Millman is the author of the award-winning “Queen City Crimes” series. The first two novels are HOOKER AVENUE and THE MIDNIGHT CALL. She’s also the creator of The Writer’s Law School and has presented critical legal info to writers and arts organizations, and to libraries. Jodé joins us on Zoom but you can also attend in person at the Bethlehem library, 451 Delaware Ave, Delmar, NY 12015.
