Poetry Open Mic with Featured Poet Richard Nilsen

April is National Poetry Month! Come celebrate poetry on the last day of April at the Meadowbrook Saloon. Richard Nilsen will be featured poet, and others may sign up to read. Each reader will get 5 minutes to read. $5 Cover Charge. Come on out to hear local Mohawk Valley and Capital Region poets reading live!

Richard H.Nilsen is the author of a poetry collection, Trying To Help People, and many novels.  His young adult fantasy The Book of Power appeared in June 2015. He has authored 10 books to date and has been published in a variety of magazines such as Christianity Today, Eternity, Guideposts, Bookstore Journal, Cornell University’s EPOCH and Poetry Now, California.
