Poetry Open Mic at the Pine Hollow Arboretum

Bring  your poems for Circle of Poetry. Bring 3-5 poems to be read by poets attending. Round-Robin format.

Friday August 9, 2024 – Sign-up starts at 6:00 PM with Reading beginning at 6:30 PM.

Helping to host the event is the PINE HOLLOW ARBORETUM. Reading held at HQ building at 34 Pine Hollow Road, Slingersland, NY 12159. The site is the former home of John and Kay Abbuhl.

FOR OPEN MIC:

• You can attend (and some do) to just listen and enjoy the work.
• Readers will feature one poem and then moving to next poet moving around circle.
• We will do at least 3 turns around the room.
• Reading has always been finished by 9:00 PM with people staying after and talking for as long as they would like.
• There will be a pass the hat for donations.
• We provide refreshments. Please bring more snacks if you wish.
