Miniature Worlds in Verse
Please join the Katonah Museum of Art for Miniature Worlds in Verse, an evening of poetry and conversation exploring themes found in the KMA’s spring exhibition Miniature Worlds: Joseph Cornell, Ray Johnson, Yayoi Kusama.
The conversation, led by Victoria Redel, author, poet, and professor of Creative Writing at Sarah Lawrence College will draw from the speakers’ experiences as poets and delve into themes of artistic friendship, language, and memory. Participating in the conversation will be award-winning poet and activist Sophie Cabot Black and Marie Howe, former Poet Laureate of New York State.
