Fundraiser Reading for Douglas Rothschild
Jay and Lauren present an Open Mic Poetry Reading before hours in honor of Douglas Rothschild. Douglas has been in the hospital since New Year’s eve. He will not be walking again for several months. An online fundraiser has been launched to help with his medical and moving expenses.
Signup to read between 12pm and 1pm. You can read your own work, or read Douglas’s work, or read work from old friends of Douglas. Readings will run from 1pm to 3pm. The pub opens for normal hours at 3pm.
Jay from Excelsior Pub will be collecting cash for the fundraiser, and we will all be sharing the online GoFundMe campaign during the fundraiser.
