Front Parlor – Outdoor Storytelling Show
Fron Parlor is back in action this August with a new twist on Front Parlor: Outdoor, drive-in storytelling in downtown Albany!
Featuring five awesome storytellers: Mashona Walston, D. Colin, Truemaster Trimingham, Dan Lyles, and Julia Cadieux!
Our theme for the night is On The Road: We can’t go much of anywhere this summer, so let’s reminisce about journeys past. Stories about driving, road trips or back seats. Or maybe it’s a more metaphorical journey, on the road to peace or justice. Either way, stories about where you went or where you’re going.
Our friends at First Church in Albany are lending their parking lot and park space at 110 N. Pearl St. for us to hold this outdoor show. Here’s how it will work: You can drive up, park in the lot and enjoy stories from your car; Or you can bring a chair/blanket and sit in the park space. Either way, we’ll be maintaining a safe social distance and you’ll be able to hear the stories through the outdoor sound system. We ask that everyone bring and wear a face-mask throughout the show as well.
