NYCLU Banned Books Week Event Co-Sponsored by Upper Hudson Library System – Attend this event to hear local area actors, poets, musicians, and activists read from banned and challenged books.
This event will also be live streamed. COME CELEBRATE BANNED BOOKS WITH US NEXT THURSDAY! We’ve teamed up with the Capital Region Chapter of the New York Civil Liberties Union and Upper Hudson Library System to celebrate our constitutional right to read what we want during National Banned Books Week!
Our “Read Out” features regional notables — actors, writers, politicians, poets, and activists of all types — reading from their favorite banned or challenged books.
